Mission
Our mission at Unity Circus is to provide a nurturing and creative environment where young people can access high-quality arts training, education, and social support. We are committed to empowering youth through the transformative power of Acro-theatre, enabling them to develop their talents and realize their potential. By integrating rigorous artistic training with holistic education and community engagement, we aim to foster resilience, confidence, and social responsibility in our participants. Our Acro-theatre for Change initiative seeks to use the arts as a vehicle for positive transformation, promoting inclusivity, empathy, and cultural exchange. Through our programs, we strive to create a vibrant and supportive network that encourages personal growth and societal impact.
Problem statement
Currently, Unity Circus Sport has no official office. Since the organization has started its activities, it has allocated various enclosed spaces in Kanembwe with large offices and different rooms where the artists and children work. This component of training children on protecting the environment by teaching them the importance of bees will be an additional skill mentioned in the knowledge provided to those 130 direct beneficiaries. By incorporating environmental education, the organization aims to instill a sense of responsibility and awareness in the children. This holistic approach ensures that the beneficiaries gain valuable skills beyond just their artistic endeavors.
Objective
The objective of this project is to significantly expand the organization's footprint by constructing a versatile hall that will serve multiple purposes. This hall will house our offices, provide a safe and dedicated training space, and host a diverse range of artists from the community, fostering creativity and collaboration. By promoting the inclusion of various artists, we aim to enrich the cultural fabric of the area and create a vibrant artistic hub. Additionally, the hall will support our eco-friendly initiatives, including the bee project, to strengthen our connection with environmental diversity and sustainability.
